NZZ History new with six issues per year
Starting in January 2017, the magazine NZZ Geschichte will increase its publication frequency and will now be published every two months. The concept, which has been very well received by readers, will remain unchanged.

NZZ Geschichte was launched in 2015 with four issues a year and has received a positive response from the outset. From January 2017, readers of NZZ Geschichte will receive six issues a year.
"Initial experience with 'NZZ Geschichte' has shown that there is great demand for journalistically prepared history topics. At the request of many of our readers, we are therefore increasing the publication frequency," says Peer Teuwsen, Editorial Director of NZZ Geschichte. NZZ Geschichte highlights historical topics with a link to the present. This approach not only convinces subscribers, but also the international jury of the European Newspaper Award: they recently awarded a prize to the issue dedicated to the history of Swiss women.
The first issue of the new year will be published on January 12, 2017. In the cover story "Man and his nature", historian and journalist Claudia Mäder sheds light on the eventful history of the relationship between man and nature.
NZZ Geschichte is still available by subscription, as an e-paper or as a single copy at newsstands. Subscriptions to the magazine now cost 98 francs for six issues.
