NZZ expands audio offering

With "NZZ Audio," the NZZ is further expanding its audio portfolio. The new format comprises at least 90 minutes of articles from the world of the NZZ set to music every week. New episodes appear every Thursday.

In the new format "NZZ Audio", content from the New Zurich Newspaper, the NZZ on Sunday, the NZZ Folio and other NZZ magazines as audio contributions. For the weekly audio format, NZZ journalists select between seven and twelve current and timeless articles, which are then set to music by professional speakers.

NZZ Audio" is aimed at a younger, mobile target group, but also at existing subscribers. The format complements the NZZ's existing audio offering, consisting of the two podcasts "NZZ Akzent" and "NZZ Megahertz". The daily podcast "NZZ Akzent" has been dedicated to topics from politics, business and technology for three years. The weekly podcast "NZZ Megahertz," launched in the spring, deals with contemporary issues, social and cultural debates, and topics such as partnership and well-being.

"NZZ Audio" costs just under CHF 5 per month on Apple Podcast. Existing NZZ subscribers can subscribe via Nzz.ch/podcast/audio or freely access the episodes via the NZZ app.
