Newsnet: New design for news portals in French-speaking Switzerland

The three news portals in French-speaking Switzerland, 24heures.ch, Lematin.ch and Tdg.ch, which now complement the Newsnet news network, are starting the new year with a fresh design.

The design and navigation of 24heures.ch, Letmatin.ch and Tdg.ch has been simplified and is now more closely aligned with the respective daily newspapers, according to a statement from Newsnet. In this way, the characteristics and peculiarities of each brand and newspaper are to be ideally shown to advantage. At the same time, the respective mobile applications for iPhone and iPad have also been redesigned. They offer an overview of news from all areas such as politics, business and entertainment, supplemented by various services. In addition, the technology of the platforms is now based on the Newsnet technology of the German-speaking Newsnet portals in Switzerland. Bazonline.ch, Bernerzeitung.ch, Derbund.ch and Tagesanzeiger.ch on.

In recent months, the Newsnet team has been strengthened by seven journalists and reorganized. Under the leadership of Grégoire Nappey, the central cover editorial office in Lausanne provides the three platforms with the latest news and corresponding background reports from Switzerland and abroad in a timely manner. In addition, a team reports directly from Geneva on regional and local events. In total, the Newsnet team in French-speaking Switzerland now numbers 33 employees in the editorial and web design departments.
