New dress for women's magazine Edelweiss

Edelweiss, the fashion and lifestyle magazine for French-speaking Switzerland, will be released on Wednesday, May 21, with a new design. The Paris-based agency Funny Bones was commissioned to develop the concept.

New layout, new editor-in-chief: 2014 is a year of change for Edelweiss, according to a statement issued by the publishing house on Wednesday. The primary task of the new appearance is to optimize reading comfort. The Paris-based graphic design studio Funny Bones, which was already entrusted with a layout assignment in April 2005, is now well acquainted with the world of the trendsetter magazine. The brief this time was to give the magazine a more colorful and cosmopolitan look, but also to give it a dynamic, bold and modern appearance.

As announced on April 22, Alexandre Lanz succeeded Laurence Desbordes at the helm of the glossy magazine as of May 1, 2014. The new Editor-in-Chief had been Head of Fashion and Music since January and before that Editor-in-Chief of the women's magazine Profil. After his initial training in fashion, he turned to journalism.
