New publishing house for pop culture planned - Swiss involved

A new pop culture publishing house called Metrolit is set to launch next spring. The Swiss publisher Walde+Graf is also a partner in the venture.

The owner of Aufbau Verlag, Matthias Koch, is in charge. The Berlin alternative radio station FluxFM is also on board. This was announced by the initiators in Berlin on Monday.
Metrolit is to launch with around 20 titles from the fields of literature, society, pop culture and graphic novels. Lars Birken-Bertsch, one of the two founders of Blumenbar Verlag, which was recently taken over by Aufbau, will take over the marketing management. (sda)
