New head of sales at Xing
Thierry Ondet will become the new head of sales for Xing's recruiting solutions. He will join the operator of the professional network in German-speaking countries in May of this year.
Until now, the French-born Ondet has headed midmarket sales in EMEA for LinkedIn. Ondet has many years of expertise in building and developing sales organizations for large and midmarket customers, Xing said in a statement Thursday. Before taking on his current role at LinkedIn in April 2012, he was a senior sales manager for Google, working to develop their sales organization in the DACH region. Prior to that, he worked for many years at Oracle, where he was most recently a member of the Oracle Direct European Management Board as Sales Director for the DACH region.
