New Head of Advertising Market for the publishing houses NZZ
Bernt Maulaz is to become the new Head of Advertising Market at NZZ Publishers. The 40-year-old succeeds Markus Ehrle, who is taking up a new professional challenge outside the NZZ. The date of the change is still open.
Within the NZZ division, Bernt Maulaz will work closely with the Publicitas subsidiary NZZ-Media as Head of Advertising Market, which handles the advertising market for the title portfolio around the NZZ, NZZ am Sonntag and Folio brands. Bernt Maulaz is currently Head of Migros Media Publishing at the Migros subsidiary Limmatdruck (Migros-Magazin, Saisonküche, Vivai). He holds degrees as a federally certified marketing planner and as a publishing specialist and completed a postgraduate course in "Leadership and Management" with a Master of Advanced Studies at the ZHAW in 2009.
Maulaz began his career in the advertising business at Publicitas, then trained in the publishing business and also has many years of experience in the online business. Among other things, he was responsible for marketing and sales at Tamedia-Online; he was head of e-commerce and business development at Tamedia's Winner classifieds platforms and was head of marketing and sales at the Internet start-up Moneycab.com. He has been working for Migros Media since February 2004.
