New editor-in-chief of Volksstimme

Jürg Gohl, formerly an editor at the Basellandschaftliche Zeitung, will become the new editor-in-chief of the Volksstimme in Sissach. He will take over the position from Patrick Moser on November 1; Moser plans to pursue a new career path next year.

Moser will assist Gohl as deputy until then. This was reported by the Volksstimme, which is published three times a week, according to SDA. Gohl is a German and English scholar and has worked as a journalist for Radio Raurach and the Basler Zeitung in addition to the Basellandschaftliche Zeitung. He was also managing director of the EHC Basel ice hockey club.
