Neuchâtel media company SNP cuts seven jobs

Seven jobs are being cut at the Neuchâtel-based media company SNP. The Société neuchâteloise de presse (SNP), which publishes the daily newspapers L'Express and L'Impartial, is laying off four employees; three departing employees will not be replaced.

Those made redundant will benefit from a social plan, as the newspapers report in their Saturday editions. The media company had already informed its employees at the end of last year that around one million francs would have to be saved in 2013. Two of the jobs cut are editorial positions. (SDA)
