Neue Zürcher Zeitung launches new video portal
The Neue Zürcher Zeitung's new video portal is now online. The video segments featured on the site are produced by two NZZ video editors.
The NZZ articles are supplemented by videos from the Reuters agency. The NZZ wrote this in a statement on Friday. In addition, a selection of episodes of "NZZ Standpunkte" and the NZZ event series "NZZ Podium" are available to online users. The latter in a cinematic summary.
The new video portal of the NZZ offers a wide range of video search options. With a mouse click, the user can call up the text article associated with the video at any time. In addition, the videos can be shared on social networks, or they can be recommended directly by e-mail. Since March 2012, the NZZ Web TV team has produced more than 350 video contributions, according to a statement. To date, these have been viewed by more than 810,000 viewers.
