New SRF Sunday show with Jonas Projer and Christa Rigozzi
SRF strengthens the socio-political debate with the new "Arena/Reporter" program on Sunday evenings. Jonas Projer and Christa Rigozzi discuss the first "Reporter" film with guests in the "Arena".
After a "Reporter", guests discuss the movie in the "Arena/Reporter", together with protagonists from the "Reporter" and the TV audience at home.
Jonas Projer and Christa Rigozzi host the new program on Sunday evening. They welcome the audience with a prelude from the "Arena" studio and then immediately lead over to the "Reporter" film, which introduces the topic of the evening. This is followed by the debate: What was the movie like? What questions does it raise? What should politicians do? Jonas Projer leads the debate, to which Christa Rigozzi repeatedly contributes opinions, stories and questions from the audience.
SRF will broadcast "Arena/Reporter" three times on a Sunday evening until the end of 2017, with four editions planned per year thereafter. The show will kick off on June 11, 2017 at 9.40 pm on SRF 1.
Editorial director Jonas Projer on the new program: "Politics is not just federal Bern, politics is everywhere. Is the AHV enough to live on? What do children learn at school? Why am I often stuck in traffic jams as a commuter? "Arena/Reporter" aims to strengthen and open up the political debate. We show stories and fates from real life and discuss them. Television viewers are also involved live. They contribute their own stories via telephone and social media."
