"Nebelspalter" publisher dismisses editor-in-chief Ralph Weibel
The editor-in-chief of the print satire magazine «Nebelspalter» has been fired. Ralph Weibel confirmed to Keystone-SDA a report by the industry portal «Kleinreport» stating that he had been suspended effective immediately, while his notice period was still in effect.

In February 2018, he first started at "Nebelspalter" as a producer, Weibel said. After the departure of Marco Ratschiller, he was editor-in-chief of the magazine until the end.
In December 2020, the "Nebelspalter" publishing house had been taken over by a group of investors including Markus Somm. In 2021, an online portal was launched in addition to the magazine.
For the time being, the Zurich-based "Nebelspalter" publishing house did not respond to an SDA request for comment.
