Nau.ch's column team features prominent political figures from both sides
The Nau.ch columnists’ team is growing: Green Party President Lisa Mazzone (38) and former Federal Councilor Christoph Blocher (85) will begin writing regular columns for the Swiss news portal Nau.ch. These two political figures join a team that, according to the portal, already includes around 30 columnists from the worlds of politics, sports, and science—making it reportedly the largest of its kind in Switzerland.
Political Balance as a Principle
By welcoming Mazzone and Blocher, Nau.ch underscores its commitment to political neutrality. All Federal Council parties are to have a voice on the portal. Micha Zbinden, editorial director of the Interact Media Group, explains: «We are proud that such prominent figures are writing for us. Nau.ch is politically neutral. Diversity and political balance are our top priorities. All parties represented in the Federal Council have a voice on our platform. Christoph Blocher and Lisa Mazzone fit perfectly into this concept.»
A Wide Range of Voices on the Nau.ch Columns Team
In the politics section, Nau.ch already features columnists from various parties: Ueli Schmezer (SP), Hans-Ulrich Bigler (SVP), Meret Schneider (Greens), Patrick Hässig (GLP), Bettina Balmer (FDP), and Markus Ritter (Center) are among the existing contributors. The political section is now rounded out by the two new additions, Mazzone and Blocher.
Beyond politics, experts such as Marko Kovic, Daniel Koch, Felix Blumer, and Martin Jucker are featured. In the sports section, Lars Lunde, Raimondo Ponte, Carla Welti, and Thomas Renggli contribute. Lifestyle and social issues are covered by Stella Kizildag, Maria Brasser, and Fabian Ruch, among others. According to the press release, further expansion of the team is planned.
