APG|SGA continues partnership with ZVV

The ZVV’s Leadhouse VMW issued a call for bids in April 2024. APG|SGA was awarded the contract for at least five years and will thus continue its partnership with Switzerland’s largest public transportation association.

The ZVV transport association unites 35 transport companies under one roof and transported over 655 million passengers in 2023. The lead house VMW (transport advertising), which is operated by Stadtbus Winterthur on behalf of the ZVV, is responsible for transport advertising in the area. Exceptions to this are the Zurich public transport company (VBZ) and Swiss Federal Railways (SBB).

The contracts with the marketers commissioned by Leadhouse VMW expire at the end of 2024. The marketing contract for advertising space in and on the vehicles was therefore put out to tender again in April 2024. The transport companies that belong to this procurement consortium include VBG Verkehrsbetriebe Glattal, VZO Verkehrsbetriebe Zürichsee und Oberland, SZU Sihltal Zürich Uetliberg Bahn, ZSG Zürichsee-Schiffahrtsgesellschaft, SBW Stadtbus Winterthur and Postbus in the Zurich market area. In total, these are over 500 vehicles, mainly standard and articulated buses.

APG|SGA will now continue to manage the rear surfaces and longitudinal roof formats on practically all 500 vehicles. Customers will also be able to book full vehicle liveries and traffic boards on selected vehicles. Inside the vehicles, over 6,000 areas of the popular hanging boxes and window banners are available.
