Culture magazine Saiten expands online platform
With support from the Foundation for Media Diversity and private donors, the St. Gallen cultural magazine is able to expand its online platform.
Saiten can use its online platform Strings.ch as announced by the publishing house management on Monday. Saiten is supported by the Foundation for Media Diversity from Basel with 75,000 Swiss francs, and private individuals from Eastern Switzerland are contributing the same amount.
The Saiten editorial team is being strengthened with the addition of Katharina Flieger to expand Saiten.ch. According to the press release, the cultural journalist will be employed on a 50 percent basis. Flieger also works for Swiss Radio and Television (SRF) and the Winterthur culture magazine Coucou.
