For the premiere on Passenger TV's screens, Tize is tackling a problem that many public transport users struggle with: "In a clip, we'll show how to get rid of the tangled mess of headphone cables when you're out and about," says Tize CEO Nils Feigenwinter, 16, who is a full-time student at Liestal High School.

Tize In the future, eight of them will also concoct and produce tips and funny, surprising short reports for Passenger TV. The target audience is young people. However, the contributions are likely to arouse interest among all age groups.

"Passengertv is delighted to be able to offer a platform to such a young and already so successful medium," says Tobias Frommenwiler, CEO of Passenger TV. In fact, the Tize portal is already used by 10,000 young people today, with a strong upward trend. The idea, the team and the work of Tize are praised in the media.

How did the collaboration come about? "We were looking for a platform where we could be seen more broadly and reach young people in the exit on Saturday, for example," says Nils Feigenwinter. Tize therefore knocked on Passenger TV's door, the Swiss market leader in passenger TV, present in around 50 public transport companies in 23 cantons. Passengertv reaches WEMF-certified over 1 million passengers daily.

A WEMF study published in fall 2016 also attests to the significant recall and advertising impact of Passenger TV's programming, based on scientific evidence.

The project started with a pilot on the screens in the Basel area. Passengers were then surveyed. The evaluation showed that the Tize reports on Passenger TV are not only very well perceived, but that the respondents would like to see Tize reports continue. Older passengers in particular liked the fact that young people were doing journalism. The programming expansion also pleases Passenger TV. "With Tize," says Passenger TV CEO Tobias Frommenwiler, "our programming becomes more journalistic, more surprising and richer." Tize will initially launch on Passenger TV screens in German-speaking Switzerland.
