Karin El Mais becomes Editor-in-Chief of Radio Top, Alexander Wenger is the new presenter at Tele Top
Top Media is bringing two familiar faces from the Swiss media scene on board: Karin El Mais will become the new editor-in-chief at Radio Top effective January 1, 2022; Alexander Wenger is the new host at Tele Top.
Karin El Mais has worked for various Swiss media companies in recent years. Among other things, she was an editor for SRF Tagesschau and a producer at TeleZüri. Most recently, Karin El Mais was head of entertainment for Schweizer Illustrierte at Ringier. "With Karin El Mais, Top Media is being joined by an experienced journalist who has strong roots in the region," says Top Managing Director Philippe Pfiffner, explaining the new addition. The 58-year-old takes over the editor-in-chief post from Sandro Peter, who is leaving TopMor-Medien at his own request at the end of the year.
Another newcomer to Tele Top is Alexander Wenger, who joined the "Top Talk Team" at the beginning of November. The 35-year-old Zurich native studied at the MAZ, was a VJ at TeleZüri, has supervised a wide variety of projects as a producer and realizer, was a presenter at Sat.1 Switzerland and is currently responsible for the "Zurich Pride Podcast" among other projects.
