Jolanda Spiess-Hegglin demands half a million francs from Blick
The farce surrounding the Zug political sex scandal is entering a new act: Cantonal Council member Jolanda Spiess-Hegglin (Alternative—the Greens) has filed a debt collection claim against *Blick* for half a million francs over its coverage of the scandal.
Edi Estermann, Ringier's media spokesman, confirmed on Wednesday the claim by Spiess-Hegglin published by Blick. According to the report, the Zug politician has sent Ringier a debt collection order in the amount of 500'000 Swiss francs. Ringier disputes the claim and has filed a legal challenge. Spiess-Hegglin has been making headlines for a year. The morning after the Landammann celebration last December, she had gone to the hospital with no memory of the previous evening and with abdominal pain. Her canton council colleague Markus Hürlimann (SVP) then came under suspicion of having subdued her with knockout drops. (SDA)
