Gruner + Jahr International Media Sales markets new clients

In line with its growth strategy, Gruner+Jahr International Media Sales (IMS) has expanded its market position by adding new clients. Since mid-2012, the Swiss subsidiary has taken over the marketing of all titles published by Gruner+Jahr’s French subsidiary, Prisma Média.

These include Capital, Gala, Geo and Prima. IMS takes over the global marketing of the print and digital offerings of the entire portfolio of its subsidiary Gruner+Jahr Netherlands (Vogue; Jan and Glamour Holland). IMS is also strengthening its portfolio in the business and decision-maker titles segment with the marketing of Financial Times Deutschland FTD in all G+J offices.

By marketing additional G+J portfolios, the publisher is increasing its local market relevance and strengthening its offering for pan-European campaigns, according to a Gruner + Jahr press release. At the same time, this positioning takes into account the current brand development that international budgets are increasingly being awarded on a pan-European or global level and are less isolated to individual countries.
