Thanks to the redesign, the Sunday title is now more closely aligned with the new design of the digital View-appearance. The new look also reflects "the digitalization at Ringier" and takes into account trends in the European media world, according to the media company.

The new layout was developed internally by SonntagsBlick-art director Chris Waeber and SonntagsBlickeditor-in-chief Reza Rafi developed and implemented. "The time has come to SonntagsBlick more appealing and modern - with the focus remaining on good stories and powerful visuals," says Rafi about the relaunch. "It was also very important to us that we move towards the future with this layout, but still remain fully in the tradition of this title, with which Ringier invented Swiss Sunday journalism in 1969."
