Enjoying the garden with a facelift and new online presence

The gardening magazine Freude am Garten has a new online presence. The magazine has also been redesigned and is now published with two more issues.

In its anniversary year 2010, the publishing house Freude am Garten was taken over by the newly founded Mespro AG, according to a press release. The name Mespro stands for the three initial letters of the new owners, editor-in-chief Uwe J. Messer and publishing director Markus Probst. With them and the new art director René Michlig, who is also a partner in the publishing house, the magazine has been redesigned and has been published eight times a year since 2011 with two more issues. The magazine is now perfect bound and the pages are more clearly laid out and reader-friendly - as confirmed by 87% of readers in a recent survey.

Since May 2011, the male trio of Messer, Probst and Michlig have been actively supported by Karin Waltenspühl. The experienced power woman took over the entire advertising business of Freude am Garten as well as the advertising management. In addition to the facelift, another innovation last year was the new website Freudeamgarten.ch. This was launched before Christmas with the publication of the new issue no. 1/12.
