"Freiburger Nachrichten" now obtains content from CH Media
The «Freiburger Nachrichten» is now partnering with CH Media’s central editorial office and will become part of the «Schweiz am Wochenende» network. The partnership with Tamedia regarding printing will continue.
Freiburger Nachrichten AG (publisher of "Freiburger Nachrichten" among others) and CH Media have agreed on a cooperation: In the future, the daily newspaper "Freiburger Nachrichten" will obtain reports, background information and analyses on national and international topics from the central editorial office of CH Media instead of Tamedia, as was previously the case. The cooperation also includes the national and international part of the online portal freiburger-nachrichten.ch.
As a result, "Freiburger Nachrichten" will in future also be part of the "Schweiz am Wochenende" group. From January 2024, readers of the daily newspaper for the German-speaking part of Fribourg will receive the "Schweiz am Wochenende" cover section every Saturday.
The cooperation between Freiburger Nachrichten AG and Tamedia will continue in printing. The newspapers "Freiburger Nachrichten" - "Der Murtenbieter" - and "Anzeiger von Kerzers" - will continue to be produced at Tamedia's printing center in Bern.
