Fondation Reinhardt von Graffenried: Media Prize announced
The Reinhardt von Graffenried Foundation is awarding five media prizes for 2010 for special achievements in the fields of photography and local journalism. The prizes are awarded for work published in 2010. The prizes are awarded in five categories, each with prize money of CHF 20,000. Five special prizes of CHF 2,000 each will also be awarded in the photography category.
Works published in 2010 will be judged for the first award. The closing date for entries is January 7, 2011 and the winners will be announced and the award ceremony will take place on April 8, 2011 at the Stadttheater Bern. With prize money totaling CHF 110,000, the Fondation Reinhardt von Graffenried Media Prize is the most highly endowed award for media professionals in Switzerland.

The jury is made up of one president per category and three members from German-speaking Switzerland, three members from French-speaking Switzerland and two members from Italian-speaking Switzerland:
