Ringier Axel Springer Switzerland has reached an agreement with Energy Switzerland on the takeover of the three online platforms combined under the Amiado Group, including the entire workforce. Oliver Diggelmann, previously Head of Amiado, will become a member of the Group Management of Energy and will now be responsible for the digital activities of the Energy Group. The move comes as part of the integration of activities and the focus on core brands within the joint venture of Ringier and Axel Springer Switzerland.

"The three Amiado platforms are a perfect fit for Energy and there are numerous synergies with our existing activities in radio, events, TV and online. We want to expand the digital area in the coming months. The integration of the Amiado Group is a first step," says Dani Büchi, Managing Director of Energy.

Roland Wahrenberger, member of the management board of Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz and responsible for Amiado: "I am delighted for the Amiado team about the start at the Energy Group and already thank all employees for their great commitment at Ringier Axel Springer Schweiz. The strong match of target groups and the integration into a successful, multimedia offering will ensure even faster further development of the platforms in the advertising and user market."

The Amiado Group's workplaces will now be located at Energy on Dufourstrasse.
