Three sheets, one name: My Zytig
The three newspapers—Aemme Zytig, Burgdorfer Tagblatt, and Grauholz Post—are getting a new name. They will be published with uniform content and under the name My Zytig in tabloid format.
The weekly newspaper will be arriving in letterboxes in a new form from next year. The newly named My Zytig will no longer be split into sub-regions, but will have a uniform title and content. It will also be printed in tabloid format. However, My Zytig will continue to carry the three old names in the header as secondary titles. She is still attached to these titles, says Rita Brodmann, the publisher of the three newspapers Aemme Zytig, Grauholz Post and Burgdorfer Tagblatt, to the Bernezeitung.ch.
The three free publications appear under the umbrella of Lokalmedien Verlag. They are written in Burgdorf, printed in Bern and appear with largely identical content, but each with a different title. Not only will the layout be standardized and refreshed, but also the content. Instead of reporting on events as before, My Zytig will focus on people stories in future. The articles focusing on a wide variety of people from the region will be published in series, among other things.
The newspaper is financed entirely by advertisements, as Bernerzeitung.ch writes. The number of pages will depend on the number of advertisements received. On average, the paper will have 40 pages, naturally fewer in the summer.
