The animal world in a new guise
Switzerland's best-known weekly magazine on animals and nature will be published on Thursday for the first time with a new design and on higher-quality paper. The magazine's content has also been enhanced.

The editorial team, publishers and editors worked together with experienced graphic designer Michael Adams on the redesign. "Tierwelt now has a much more modern, fresh and attractive look," says editor-in-chief Simon Koechlin.
The fact that Tierwelt will be printed on higher quality paper in future will undoubtedly also contribute to its increased appeal. "Images are particularly important in an animal magazine aimed at the whole family," says Koechlin. "We therefore want to place even more emphasis on the imagery in the magazine than before - and the new paper will show this to its best advantage."
In terms of content, Tierwelt continues to focus on its proven, diverse mix of topics. However, it sets clearer accents and improves reader guidance. For example, the cover story has been expanded into a multi-page focus that illuminates a topic from different angles. The table of contents is more generously designed and the magazine is clearly divided into the main sections Pets, Farm Animals, Wild Animals and Nature and the Environment.
"With the redesign, Tierwelt is no longer just a must for anyone interested in animals and nature because of its content, but also because of its design," says Koechlin. (OTS)
