The Tamedia podcast "Tages-Anzeiger" returns with a fresh concept after a break of almost six months. The podcast by women who write headlines about women who make headlineswill now be published weekly instead of every two weeks as before, according to Tamedia. In addition to the previous presenter Annik Hosmann, Kerstin Hasse, member of the editorial team of the Tages-Anzeigerand Annick Senn, editor in the New Digital Content team, behind the microphone. The episodes are published on Friday mornings, with the first one appearing on Friday.

How much feminism is possible in German rap? Why is everyone suddenly talking about the "Pretty Privilege" phenomenon? How well have cult films like "Love Actually" aged? And why are we still so far behind in gender medicine? In 15 to 20-minute episodes, the trio of hosts discuss topics that have moved, excited or inspired them in the week in question. In addition, every week there is a short news update on women who are currently making headlines and reveal their personal cultural tips.

The hosts take turns each week and will conduct interviews in teams of two. In the first episode on Friday, they will all be in the studio for once to welcome listeners to the launch of the new "Tages-Anzeigerin".

"Women are still underrepresented in the media and are sometimes portrayed in a stereotypical way. We want to shed light on different facets of female life that affect society as a whole," says Annik Hosmann. And a woman is also working behind the scenes: Sara Spreiter is now responsible for producing the podcast.

The "Tages-Anzeiger" is available on all popular streaming platforms. As part of a stronger audio strategy, the Tages-Anzeiger wants to further expand its podcast portfolio.
