The Swiss Illustrated Magazine with Co-Editor-in-Chief

Schweizer Illustrierte is expanding its editorial leadership: Effective no later than March 1, 2015, Werner De Schepper will join the magazine’s leadership team as co-editor-in-chief alongside current SI editor-in-chief Stefan Regez.

Werner De Schepper is the former Editor-in-Chief of Blick, was most recently Editor-in-Chief of TeleBärn and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Aargauer Zeitung - and has been a consultant at Schweizer Illustrierte (SI) since June 2014. From March 1, 2015 at the latest, he will be Co-Editor-in-Chief alongside SI Editor-in-Chief Stefan Regez and will primarily act as a page-turner.

Urs Heller, Managing Director Magazines Switzerland of Ringier in a statement: "The demands on editors-in-chief are exceedingly high today. The model of co-editors-in-chief has proven its worth." Ueli Walther, deputy editor-in-chief and head of news since July 2012, is therefore leaving SI at his own request. The position of head of news will be filled. With a readership of 712,000, Schweizer Illustrierte is Switzerland's biggest people and family magazine.
