The BZ Berner Zeitung has a new website
The BZ Berner Zeitung has completely revised and modernized its website in order to optimally adapt it to the increasing mobile use.

After completion of the test phase, the websites of the BZ Bernese Newspaper and their partner titles Bernese Oberland, Thuner Tagblatt and BZ Langenthaler Tagblatt from today in a new design.
Over the past nine months, a team of developers, designers and journalists have worked intensively on the development of the new website. The focus was on content - with a focus on mobile use, which now accounts for around 80 percent of digital use.
The design has been fundamentally revised and modernized, new forms of presentation such as different teaser variants have been implemented. Thanks to the latest technology, loading times have been significantly reduced.
Simon Bärtschi, Editor-in-Chief of the BZ Bernese Newspaperin a statement: "We want to be close to our readers, who are increasingly using us on mobile. The new website offers more clarity and variety and completely new design options. This allows us to better adapt to the needs of our users. However, we remain true to our promise: the region always comes first with us."
After the BZ Bernese Newspaper other Tamedia newspapers will renew their websites by May 2020. At the end of March, the Tages-Anzeiger, The Land messenger, the Zurichsee-Zeitung, the Zürcher Unterländer, The Covenant as well as the Basel Newspaper. From May, the changeover will take place at the newspaper titles 24 heures and Tribune de Genève in the French-speaking part of Switzerland.
