Dentsu Group completes acquisition of Aegis Media
The Japanese Dentsu Group has completed the acquisition of the Aegis Media Group. The group has now established Dentsu Aegis Network Ltd. in London.
All companies in the network that made up the former Aegis Group - Carat, iProspect, Isobar, Posterscope, Vizeum and Aztec - will continue their businesses within the Dentsu Group under the existing brand name Aegis Media. This was announced by the Group on Tuesday. The process was initiated on July 12, 2012 and approved by the Aegis shareholders' meeting on August 16, 2012.
