This was the 25th anniversary of Screen-Up
About 700 guests gathered on Thursday in Hall 622 in Zurich Oerlikon to celebrate Screen-Up’s 25th anniversary together with Admeira and Goldbach Media. More than 40 TV stations presented their upcoming programming highlights, offering attention-grabbing advertising opportunities.

The event was entirely dedicated to disco style. The three show blocks were rounded off by the after-show party with a live performance by 90s chart-toppers Snap.
In their opening speech, Alexander Duphorn, CEO Goldbach Media, and Frank Zelger, CEO Admeira, pointed out that TV is still the undisputed moving image medium and, thanks to information and entertainment, creates campfire moments for all target groups. Through independent measurement across different screens and platforms, advertisers can also understand exactly how content is consumed and make even better use of the diverse offering for their own advertising.
As a new development, it was announced that replay ads, i.e. advertising on time-shifted television, will also be possible in French-speaking Switzerland from 2025, making the advertising offering for clients and agencies even more diverse.
Seven. One Entertainment Group: again with TV Total in Zurich
Seven. One Media picked up where they left off last year with their screen-up appearance right at the start of the show. This year, presenter Sebastian Pufpaff once again welcomed various guests to the replica TV-Total studio and guided them through the broadcasters' highlights.

Of course, the Swiss highlights were particularly interesting for the audience. These included, for example, "Kurds in the Ear", where the two podcasters Yoldaş and Serhat once again set off on crazy missions. Or "KochBar": the new late-night cooking talk show with chef Fabian Zbinden. And "Fashion Taxi", the fastest makeover show in Switzerland, is entering the next round on Sat.1 with a new season.
ProSieben also celebrated a premiere: twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz compete against each other in Katrin Bauerfeind's "Die Superduper Show" on ProSieben.
The ProSieben-Sat1 streaming platform Joyn, which has been available in Switzerland since June 2024 and is marketed by Goldbach, took part for the very first time. The platform features various in-house productions, series and quiz games. Andrea Haemmerli, Managing Director Seven. One Entertainment Group, and Thomas Münzner, Program Director of Joyn, were delighted with the launch in Switzerland: "We are very satisfied with the successful launch of Joyn Switzerland. Technically, everything went smoothly, all platforms were available on time and have been working perfectly since day 1. New content is being added every day and the entire offering is constantly being expanded. We are particularly proud of the continuous growth in video views, which are increasing in the high double-digit percentage range every month. This shows us that our service is well received by users and that trust in Joyn is growing. This is also reflected in the increasing demand from advertisers."

Proven and various new features on French channels
Next, the French channel groups TF1, M6 and C8 presented their highlights.
TF1 relies on successful main programs, but also on novelties. TF1's major entertainment brands, such as "Koh-Lanta", "Star Academy", "Danse avec les Stars", "Mask Singer" and "The Voice", have had a loyal audience for years. In addition, there are various new products - from documentary series to games programs and various series, some of which have already started. One of the TF1 Group's most important ambitions is and remains to enrich popular culture with new, modern heroes. And they continue to invest in daily soaps.
The M6 trailer showed that fans can look forward to informative documentary programs and a variety of series and films in addition to plenty of entertainment in the coming season.
The situation is similar at C8: C8's variety of programs ranges from must-see movies and series to sporting events and promises 5 hours of live broadcasts every day. C8 says it is committed to important causes and shares strong values to support young people and promote positive initiatives.
Lots of Swissness at Swiss1
Swiss1 embodies and lives #Swissness. Following the success of this year's in-house production "Swiss1 Schwinget", which reached more than 1.1 million viewers, the channel is planning to expand its live TV broadcasts of wrestling competitions in the coming year.
Swiss1 combines classic TV expertise with social media. "The investment in a modern, cross-media strategy in an otherwise rather traditional sports sector has definitely paid off. It enabled us to reach a broad target group and therefore also new viewers," says Swiss1 co-founder Daniela Zwahlen. Film lovers will also continue to get their money's worth with major Hollywood films and Swiss1's successful XXL Christmas film program.
