Comedy trio attacks look
In a YouTube video featuring their song «Nur din Job,» the comedy trio «Heinz de Specht» launched a scathing attack on the editorial staffs of *Blick* and *Schweizer Illustrierte* and published photos of journalists from both publications who work at Ringier.
In the video, the trio from Zurich and St. Gallen denounce the Ringier media's treatment of relatives and friends of the victims of the Rupperswil murder case. "If you greedily go to the hole when there's a death, if you spend a long time at the crime scene looking around the houses, if you go to squeeze out the victims' relatives ... then you're not an asshole ... because you're a Blick reporter and you're just doing your job," the lyrics to the song say. In the video, headlines from Blick and Schweizer Illustrierte are held up to the camera and photos of reporters are shown with a thin bar across their eyes. The song is intended to criticize the methods of tabloid journalists, says singer and song composer Christian Weiss to Radio 1, adding that the publication of photos of the journalists is not problematic. Ringier probably sees it differently. According to research by the radio station, the media house Ringier is currently considering legal action against the cabaret group. (hae/pd)
