"CH Media" and "Schaffhauser Nachrichten": Partnership with prospects

The partnership between «CH Media» and the «Schaffhauser Nachrichten,» which has been in place since 2012, will be extended and strengthened. Starting in 2025, the Schaffhausen-based media company will expand its offerings with content from «CH Media’s» central editorial office and adapt its layout accordingly. Editorial independence will remain intact.

CH Media" and "Schaffhauser Nachrichten" have been cooperating successfully for more than a decade. The renewed agreement as of 2025 provides for the Schaffhausen media company to take over even more national and international content from "CH Media" in future. This will be integrated into both the printed first edition of the newspaper and the digital offering.

To ensure a smooth takeover of content, the layout of "Schaffhauser Nachrichten" will be adapted to that of "CH Media", but without restricting the editorial independence of the regional medium.

A partnership with added value

The cooperation gives "Schaffhauser Nachrichten" access to the expertise of the more than 50-strong editorial team at "CH Media". Nina Siegrist, CEO of Meier + Cie AG, is delighted: "We are delighted to be able to extend and deepen our existing cooperation with CH Media."

Michael Wanner, CEO of "CH Media", also emphasizes the importance of the collaboration: "Schaffhauser Nachrichten is a perfect partner for us as a media company with strong regional roots. Such collaborations strengthen our journalistic offering and, with our excellent journalistic content, we are an important voice in the Swiss media landscape"

Included in "Switzerland at the weekend"

Since 2023, the "Schaffhauser Nachrichten" has also been part of the "Schweiz am Wochenende" network, which is one of the most widely read weekend publications in Switzerland with its extended coverage. Readers benefit from in-depth reporting on culture, society and international topics - whether in print or as an e-paper.
