BZ Basel expands editorial team

Already last year, the Basel-Stadt and Sport departments were strengthened by three positions and the Basel team of Der Sonntag was filled with four people. Now, four new positions will be created for the BZ Basel in the departments Basel-City, Basel-Country, Economy and Culture, as AZ Medien announced on Tuesday. The reason was the positive feedback from readers on the daily newspaper, which has been published since January.
In addition, as of the beginning of June, the editorial headquarters were moved from Liestal to new, larger editorial offices in the center of Basel, at Kornhausgasse 5, according to the statement. From June 18, 2012, an advertising campaign will also be launched to position BZ Basel as a liberal and independent daily newspaper. These messages will be communicated via billboards, radio spots, advertisements and online advertising. The campaign was realized by the CR Basel agency.
