Blick launches book on the interview series "We were heroes"
For his interview series «Wir waren Helden» (“We Were Heroes”), Blick journalist Daniel Leu regularly interviews Swiss athletes. These conversations have now been compiled into a 332-page book featuring 30 articles and 180 photos.
They have triumphed at Olympic Games and World Championships, scored important goals and won epoch-making races: Little Switzerland is rich in great sporting icons. With 30 of these sportsmen and women, the deputy View-Head of Sport Daniel Leu. The new Blick book "We were heroes" provides insights into her career, highlights and strokes of fate.
The 47-year-old author has been covering the world of sport as a journalist for over 25 years. "I was interested in the stories, not the names. The interviews always left a lasting impression. Because everyday life and life away from success are often much more exciting than the actual triumphs," says Leu.
The 332-page book is published in the Beobachter edition and costs 39 francs.
