Bernese Cantonal Wrestling Festival 2018 brings TeleBärn dream ratings
The live broadcast of the 2018 Bernese Cantonal Schwing Festival in Utzenstorf last Sunday brought TeleBärn record-breaking ratings.
AZ Medien's regional station reached almost 308,000 people with its live broadcast directly from the wrestling arena in Utzenstorf, which lasted more than nine hours, and its reporting, thus generating an average market share of 4.6 percent over 24 hours in the whole of German-speaking Switzerland. In the license area, the market share over 24 hours was 15.1 percent.
The final round of the year's Schwingsport highlight achieved peak ratings of around 100,000 people, representing a market share of 42.2 percent in the Bern concession area.
