Bachelorette: Press Council reprimands Blick.ch
According to the Press Council, Blick.ch violated Frieda Hodel's privacy. The reason: its reporting on medications that were visible in Hodel's refrigerator in an Instagram photo.

Hodel wanted to make the point that she wanted to eat healthy things like fruits and vegetables after returning from filming in Thailand. However, Blick.ch discovered a pack of vaginal tablets in the side door of the refrigerator. This resulted in an article that speculates about Frieda Hodel's sex life and not only wonders why Hodel needs this medication, but also seems to know why. The article was based on pure conjecture by the editors. Hodel did not want to comment on it.
For the Press Council, this article clearly violates Frieda Hodel's privacy. Blick.ch was allowed to publish the photo of the refrigerator because Frieda Hodel is a public figure and the photo was related to her celebrity as Bachelorette. However, according to the Press Council ruling, the portal should not have made the medication, which is barely visible at first glance, a topic of discussion.
