Argus and ZMS Monitoring merged as siblings under one holding umbrella

The owners of Argus and ZMS Monitoring Services have decided to merge their companies into Argus der Presse Holding AG as sister companies under a common holding company umbrella, effective July 1, 2011.

The decision was triggered by the need to secure the continued existence of ZMS after Miranda Bammert-Zahn had to step down as CEO for health reasons, according to a statement on Friday. The planned cooperation under the joint holding umbrella is intended to bundle the strengths of the two Swiss media monitoring houses and better leverage them for the benefit of customers.

For the time being, nothing will change for the employees, the statement continues. They will remain employed in their respective companies, which will be managed by Ralph Brechlin, Argus, and on the ZMS side by Stephan Wyss and Mirjana Egeric. At the same time, both companies would jointly launch a cooperation project with the task of developing a proposal by the end of 2011 on how the cooperation between Argus and ZMS could be made as cooperative and at the same time as effective as possible. Linard Campell (Argus), Jürg Zahn (ZMS) and Matthias Mölleney (external project coach and personnel expert) have been assigned to lead the cooperation project.
