Anonymous threat against Zurich and Aargau publishing houses
Police were dispatched Monday to Zurich’s Seefeld neighborhood following an anonymous threat against a publishing house. The Ringier Group’s media headquarters are located there. A threat was also received at CH Media’s headquarters in Aarau.
According to the Zurich city police, several publishing houses received a serious threat against a publishing house on Monday morning. The city police reacted immediately and set up a large security operation in the affected area near Dufourstrasse. The security measures are still in place, as a spokeswoman explained in the evening when asked by the Keystone-SDA agency.
Further information on the threat and the specific measures taken will not be provided for police reasons. The CH Media newspaper headquarters in the Telli district of Aarau (Aargauer newspaper), a police patrol was stationed. This was a precautionary measure, as Bernhard Graser, media spokesman for the Aargau cantonal police, said on request. The headquarters in Aarau had also received a threat by e-mail. (SDA)
