It regularly sold out in no time and was a must-attend event on many readers’ calendars: After a seven-year hiatus, the annabelle Soirée is returning—in two Swiss cities at once. The popular series of events and talks will take place on September 16, 2026, at the Kunsthaus Zürich and on November 11, 2026, at the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern. The comeback is being organized in partnership with PostFinance.

A format that has achieved cult status

The heart of the annabelle brand—as Editor-in-Chief Barbara Loop describes the event—is returning after a long hiatus. «The return of the annabelle Soirée after seven years is something very special to us. The Soirée is more than just a series of events—it’s a cult phenomenon, the heart of the annabelle brand. Readers from all over Switzerland come together at the Soirée. It’s a place where the magazine comes to life,» says Loop. The focus is on social issues that matter to women today—discussed by prominent figures with diverse perspectives and life experiences. Both evenings will be moderated by annabelle editor Helene Aecherli.

Zurich: annabelle Soirée asks, «What is success?»

The Kunsthaus Zürich will kick off the series on September 16, 2026. Under the title «What Is Success?», entrepreneur Yaël Meier, SRF host Mona Vetsch, psychology professor Pasqualina Perrig, and Valentin Müller—who, after a meteoric career in the financial sector, now works as an elementary school teacher—will discuss the topic. For a long time, success was considered synonymous with status, money, and career—but this understanding is changing. What defines a successful life today? What role do societal expectations play? Is success gender-dependent? And how does success differ from personal fulfillment? These and other questions will be the focus of the evening.

Bern: How do we make the right decisions?

The second annabelle Soirée will take place on November 11, 2026, at the Zentrum Paul Klee in Bern. The event will focus on the question: «How do I make the right decision?» We’re constantly making decisions—whether to pursue an education, have children, change jobs, or start over. But is there even such a thing as the “right” decision? Or do good decisions only become apparent in hindsight? And do women make decisions differently than men? The lineup for the Bern panel will be announced at a later date.

In addition to the panel discussions, guests can look forward to a full-course cocktail reception, a goodie bag, and the opportunity to network on both evenings.

Tickets will be available starting in late July

Tickets cost CHF 49.–; CHF 39.– for annabelle subscribers. The price includes a full-course appetizer and a goodie bag. Ticket sales begin at the end of July 2026. Seating is limited. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit https://www.annabelle.ch/soiree.
