Andrea Bleicher becomes new deputy editor-in-chief of Sonntagszeitung

Andrea Bleicher will become deputy editor-in-chief of the Sonntagszeitung effective February 1, 2014. She most recently served as interim editor-in-chief at Blick.

Prior to this, Andrea Bleicher had been head of the news department at Blick since 2007 and became head of news for the entire Blick Group in 2010. From 2002 to 2007, she wrote for the Sonntagszeitung for five years as a news editor specializing in investigative research. Andrea Bleicher is a trained bookseller and a graduate of the Ringier School of Journalism.

With this appointment, Arthur Rutishauser, who will take up his post as the new Editor-in-Chief on December 1, 2013, complements his management team, which will include Andrea Bleicher, Deputy Editor-in-Chief Andreas Kunz and Simon Bärtschi as Head of Editorial Management.
