André Moesch becomes new CEO of Tele 1 and TVO

On July 1, André Moesch will take over the management of the regional TV stations Tele 1 and TVO. The media manager succeeds Dominique Lammer, who is moving to CH Media.

The regional television stations of NZZ Regionalmedien AG will have a new CEO in André Moesch. He will take over from Dominique Lammer on July 1, 2025. The outgoing Managing Director is moving to CH Media. As Head of TV Regional, she will be responsible for the areas of infotainment, technology and production within the Regional Electronic Media + watson unit.

"Really looking forward to being part of the team again"

For André Moesch, it is a return to his former place of work. He was already responsible for the regional broadcaster TVO in Eastern Switzerland as Managing Director from 2006 to 2019, as well as Tele 1 in Central Switzerland between 2018 and 2019. Commenting on his future commitment, he says: "The more confusing the world situation becomes, the more important reliable, local media like our regional television stations are. I have always followed the positive development of TVO and Tele 1 and am very much looking forward to being part of the team again."

André Moesch began his career in 1986 as a print journalist in Basel. After working as an editor at Radio Basilisk and in management positions at various regional radio stations and Radio DRS 3, he initially took over the management of what is now Radio FM1 in Eastern Switzerland from 2001, before taking over the management of TVO and Tele 1. Most recently, he spent four years as Managing Director of the BaselMedia Foundation and the regional broadcaster Telebasel. André Moesch has also chaired the Swiss regional television association Telesuisse since 2012.

At the same time, I would like to thank Dominique Lammer for her valuable work over the past few years. She has further developed Tele 1 and TVO with her can-do mentality and strong leadership qualities and has made a significant contribution to the renewal of the concessions. Tele 1 - mis 1 ide Zentralschwiz! stands for regionality and quality. The Central Swiss television station Tele 1 went on air for the first time in February 2010 and has been successfully reporting on the most important topics from the region ever since. Tele 1 AG is a subsidiary of NZZ Regionalmedien AG and part of the NZZ. CH Media provides technical, production, marketing and management services for Tele 1.
