"7 vs. Wild": Survival format with Swiss cast starts on 3+
Starting January 25, 3+ will premiere the hit survival show «7 vs. Wild» featuring a Swiss cast. Seven well-known personalities, including Tamara Cantieni, Kris Grippo, Tamy Glauser, and T-Ronimo, will face the wilderness in the Dominican Republic for 14 days—without food or water, and with minimal equipment.
It starts like a dream: sun, palm trees, turquoise blue sea. But what looks like paradise turns out to be a merciless test. Seven well-known personalities face the wilderness, without drinking, without food, with minimal equipment. Whoever holds out for 14 days wins - that's "7 vs. Wild". The survival format from Germany, which has been celebrated millions of times, can be seen for the first time with a Swiss cast and for the first time on free TV - from January 25 on 3+.
Extreme conditions in the Caribbean
The untouched Samaná peninsula in the Dominican Republic shows its rough, uncompromising side. After jumping from a helicopter into the sea, the adventurers of "7 vs. Wild" are left to their own devices. No camera crew, no outside help. Just themselves and the wilderness.
Fresh water? Not a chance. Food? Hardly more than coconuts. And at night, the place is crawling with spiders and crabs. Wind, rain, heat, lack of sleep - everything wears on the nerves. The participants have to make a fire without a lighter and protect themselves from the elements, while the thirst becomes increasingly unbearable.
As if that wasn't enough, time seems to stand still. The participants reach their mental, physical and interpersonal limits. Someone wants to give up on the second day. Someone else feels excluded and someone else isolates themselves. Those who persevere for 14 days win the battle against nature and themselves. Everything is 100 percent real, the participants film themselves and the viewers are up close and personal without filters.
The Swiss cast
They include strong personalities from a wide variety of worlds: Kris Grippo (23, Basel) is one of Switzerland's most successful content creators and influencers with 9.2 million followers on TikTok, 2.6 million on Instagram and 317,000 on YouTube. He was already part of the German "7 vs. Wild" series on Amazon - and knows what to expect.
Tamy Glauser (41, Bern) is internationally renowned as a model and a strong voice for diversity and individuality. Taulant "T-Ronimo" (31, Zurich, grew up in Aargau) is successful on all platforms and is known for elaborate sketches and pointed humor.
Gabirano (27, Zurich, grew up in Bern) inspires a young audience with his humor and everyday stories. He is one of the most successful comedy influencers in Switzerland with hundreds of thousands of views. Tamara Cantieni (51, Zurich, grew up in Aargau) is sharp-tongued, self-deprecating and known for her satirical take on the influencer world.
Flavio Leu (27, Zurich, grew up in Thurgau) is an actor and comedian, popular for his humorous observations of everyday life on social media. Gion Saluz (47, Zurich, grew up in Graubünden) is a survival trainer and founder of "Swiss Survival Training". He is an experienced expert, calming influence and natural leader of the group.
Media day with survival training
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, survival expert and "7 vs. Wild" participant Gion Saluz will conduct a survival training session with the Swiss cast in the morning in a forest on the outskirts of Zurich. On location, the protagonists show what wilderness survival skills they have and where they might still be lacking.
