4+ now also on Swisscom TV
Switzerland's newest private broadcaster, 4+, will be available on Swisscom TV starting December 3. At the same time, 3+ will now be available in HD.
4+ was launched on October 9, 2012 on UPC Cablecom and other cable network providers. From December 3, the channel will also be distributed via Swisscom TV. At the same time, 3+ is now also available in high definition quality.
The young Swiss TV station took the step into the HD age in the summer and renewed its entire broadcasting technology. At the same time, Switzerland's largest private broadcaster also produced its commercials, sign elements and in-house productions such as Bauer, ledig, sucht... or Der Ba-chelor completely new in HD, according to a statement. The HD technology has a four times higher picture resolution than conventional television. This leads to improved detail and tightened color depth, which makes watching shows even more enjoyable.
