Zurich's new local TV station Züri Plus is jumping on the talent show bandwagon. The first episode of "ZüriStar" will be broadcast on April 6, and the first round will feature six music clips that Züri Plus has previously produced at castings with up-and-coming singers. For 24 weeks, the audience will select two winners who will go through to the next round and also record a joint song to be released at Christmas. Only the final on February 29, 2004 is planned as a live show.
