Xaver Award: Submit projects now

The Xaver Award - which honors the best projects of the previous year and is held annually by the Expo Event Association - will take place on April 8, 2014 at Komplex 457 in Zurich. While 2013 was a year of innovations, 2014 can fall back on the tried and tested. Thus, the Xaver not only remains at home in last year's location Komplex 457, but can also count on the support of the same jury. This is announced by the association in a statement on Monday.

For the new edition of the Xaver, categories have been expanded so that "Public Events & Show Entertainment" will also be judged individually and awarded for the first time. Projects can be submitted from 25.11.2013 to 24.01.2014 via the website Xaver-award.ch be submitted.

The categories

Best Expo Project (Brand communication in space & store design)
Experience-oriented concepts / implementations around trade fair participations, brand worlds, museum exhibitions as well as company / NPO-initiated temporary exhibitions. Theme pavilions, idea parks, trade fair stagings, flagship stores, brandworlds and so on.

Best Event Project
Corporate events, employee events, consumer events, charity, social & cultural events.

Best Cross Media Project (360 Degree Campaign)
Holistic live communication measures carried out using a variety of available forms of communication such as advertising, sales promotion, public relations or online marketing, in which the networking of the various media was a key success factor.

Best Supplier Services
Outstanding implementation services or partial services within the scope of agency and client projects as well as own productions of suppliers from all areas (technology, catering, location, conception, decoration and so on).

Best Public Event & Show Entertainment
Large-scale public events such as open-air concerts, in-house productions in the area of show entertainment, cultural and sporting events.

Public Xaver
Audience award after presentation of the nominees during the award ceremony at the Xaver event by majority vote of the visitors present on site.

Xaver of the Year
Honorary prize awarded by the association for outstanding personal achievements within the live communications industry in Switzerland.
