Westiform: Moving advertising over a length of 26 meters

A new advertising display has gone live in Visp: On the facade of the City-Park across from the train station, advertisements are shown on LED displays with a total length of 26 meters. The content can be updated in real time.

The one-meter-high LED display can't be missed from the station entrance. The advertising system consists of two LED displays arranged in a row, which together provide an advertising area of around 31 square meters. Videos, images, news and web content can be broadcast via the displays.

The content can be adapted by the operator Centerpark, independent of location and in real time, Westiform said in a statement on Friday. The advertising space has met with great interest: Centerpark was able to sign, among others, banks, insurance companies and tourism companies as advertising partners. Newspartner is Radio Rottu Oberwallis (rro). Via rss feed, rro continuously broadcasts regional and local news via the displays.

The idea for the advertising system came from the owner and managing director of Centerpark, Otto Imboden. Imboden entrusted Westiform with the execution. Westiform implemented the project in its entirety: from the planning, through the initial content creation, to the installation and maintenance. The heart of the advertising system is the Navori software, which can be accessed from anywhere and with any browser. With the CMS, different content sections can be created, playlists or database content can be integrated.
