Advertising pressure in electronic media increases slightly
In a relatively stable overall market, advertising pressure on TV, radio and electronic media is rising slightly, while the Internet, teletext and ad screen are suffering losses, as the August edition of the Goldbach Index (Gemi) shows.
With a loss of two index points, Adscreen lost slightly again and closed August with 612 (614) index points. Also among the losers were Teletext with 67 (69) and Internet with 742 (747) index points. TV and radio remained on a growth trajectory with an increase of two index points each. TV closed at 638 (636) and radio at 426 (424) index points.
The electronic media as a whole gained one index point to close at 640 (639), while the market as a whole lost 236 (237) index points.
