The new website of APG|SGA.APG|SGA and the web agency Divio launched their new website a few weeks ago. As in 2010, Divio was responsible for the complete implementation of the APG|SGA website and the sites of all the companies belonging to the group, taking into account the requirements of the complex multisite architecture. The goal was to present content in a cleanly readable form, in a flexible design and with the possibility of presenting the company's products and business areas in a new and clear way. The team implemented all templates in HTML/CSS using an online style guide, updated the "django CMS" to the latest version 3 and programmed additional modules.Virtual world makes advertising formats playfully visibleWhat is striking about the new appearance is the virtual world. This is a playful representation of the diverse structure of the individual companies. In terms of their activities, these can be found in so-called "communication spaces" in the virtual world. With a comprehensive module, the "Location Finder", locations of specific advertising formats such as MegaPosters or of digital eBoards and ePanels can be searched for in a user-friendly way and displayed in a structured manner. In the future, this will make it easier for APG|SGA to centrally record special formats and simplify the retrieval of corresponding information and contacts for users.A well-rehearsed team for yearsWhat was also special about the project was that those responsible could count on a well-coordinated team right from the start due to the many years of cooperation. "The long-standing relationship created a strong partnership. As a result, we were able to use the knowledge and experience from the initial project as a whole to achieve convincing new results such as the virtual world," says Alex Hildbrand, Head of E-Communications at APG|SGA.
