WeArePepper takes over social media for Alnatura Switzerland

WeArePepper is now working for Alnatura AG in Switzerland. Since January 2026, the agency has been managing the company’s Instagram and LinkedIn social media channels and supporting the organic brand as it rebrands following the closure of the Swiss Alnatura stores.

The Alnatura Organic Super Markets in Switzerland will close their doors at the end of 2025. The stores were previously operated by the Migros Cooperative Zurich as a franchise partner. Following the cooperative's decision to discontinue the franchise agreement, various options were examined. Despite intensive investigations, it was not possible to find a new, suitable partner to continue operating the stores.

Brand remains present

Even without its own stores, Alnatura remains an integral part of the Swiss organic market. The brand will be managed by Alnatura AG and will continue to be widely represented in the retail sector. Alnatura products will also be available in 2026 at Migros, Migros Online, Migrolino, Müller, Farmy, Volg and Rossmann, among others. Alnatura has always stood for "organic enjoyment with meaning" - for the best organic quality, sustainably developed products and a fair price-performance ratio. This claim remains unchanged and should remain visible and tangible even without its own sales areas.

Dialogue-oriented social media strategy

With WeArePepper, Alnatura Switzerland is focusing on a clear, dialog-oriented social media strategy. The communicative relaunch on Instagram and LinkedIn focuses increasingly on the products, their origin and quality as well as the brand's values and attitude. The aim is to further anchor Alnatura in Switzerland as a credible, independent organic brand and to promote communication with consumers and other stakeholder groups.

The Zurich-based communications agency WeArePepper was launched in fall 2020 as a management buy-out of the PR division of Keystone-SDA. Under the leadership of Sebastian Schneider and Karin Lehmann, the agency focuses on the business areas of public relations, influencer relations and visual PR. Its clients include Skechers, Hyatt Hotels and Convention Center Zurich Airport The Circle, Stokke, Lausanne Tourism, Nikon, Allianz Suisse and Zürcher Kantonalbank.
